RapidFire® CYP Inhibition Screening Service
Your Analysis Done in 3 Days. (How's that for "Faster Answers"?)

The RapidFire CYP Inhibition Screening Service provides high quality mass spectrometry based CYP inhibition assay data using FDA recommended drug probes and liver microsomes generating data that correlates with conventional LC-MS techniques. Efficiently assessing CYP inhibition allows early detection of possible deleterious competitive drug interactions by potential lead compounds. Several leading pharmaceutical companies have published CYP inhibition data using the RapidFire System.

The RapidFire CYP Inhibition Screening Service integrates easily into existing laboratory workflows. Laborious sample preparation is not required – simply send us quenched 96 or 384 well plates from the defined CYP assays containing labeled internal standard. Samples are analyzed using BIOCIUS RapidFire microscale solid-phase extraction sample preparation system interfaced to a triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer. BIOCIUS can analyze CYP inhibition assays (competitive or time dependent) for a number of P450 isoforms. Results are delivered with very fast turn-around times in a format that is easy to interpret and analyze.

Available CYP Assays
CYP1A2 (tacrine, melatonin)
CYP2B6 (amodiaquin, taxol)
CYP2C8 (tolbutamide, diclofenac)
CYP2C19 (S-mephenytoin, omeprazole)
CYP2D6 (dextromethorphan, bufuralol)
CYP2E1 (chlorzoxazone)
CYP3A4/5 (midazolam, nifedipine, erythromycin, testosterone)
Custom assay development available.

BIOCIUS’s experienced scientists have screened millions of wells for our clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in support of their drug discovery efforts. Using current resources, RapidFire enables researches to obtain more data and make more informed decisions without compromising assay integrity.
