BioTrove Expands Customer Support, Corporate Presence With New West Coast Office

Bay Area facility to incorporate laboratory, customer service and sales teams for convenient Western client support

Woburn, MA, July 22, 2008 - BioTrove, Inc. today announced the opening of a new Bay Area location to expand customer and technical support to the west coast region. Located in San Carlos, California, the new BioTrove corporate offices and laboratory will facilitate research collaborations with clients based nearby, as well as technology demonstrations of the company's ... RapidFire high-throughput mass spectrometry (HTMS) system.

"Expanding our offices to California brings us closer to both genomic research and drug discovery clients in the West, providing convenient, readily accessible regional support for these important projects."

BioTrove's new facility is situated in close proximity to strategic partnership headquarters, as well as clients in a range of life sciences and drug discovery fields. BioTrove's two innovative technology platforms, OpenArray and RapidFire, will both be available for in-office customer demonstrations and client technical support. Sales forces dedicated to these markets will also hold offices in the facility.
